  • what Personal Data we collect about you when visiting our website from which this Privacy Notice is linked (“Website”) or otherwise in the course of your relationship with us;
  • for what purpose we collect your Personal Data and how we use it;
  • who your Personal Data is disclosed to and how long we keep it; and
  • your legal rights in respect of your Personal Data that we collect, including how to access and update the information we hold about you.

1.2 Our Website is not targeted at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from such individuals.

2. What personal data we collect about you and for what purpose

2.1 We collect Personal Data in various ways on our Website, including through registrations, applications, surveys, in connection with your enquiries, and automatically when you browse our Website. We may request more specific information or Personal Data from you when you place an order on our Website. We also collect Personal Data at conferences, trade shows and meetings (both in-person and virtual) from individuals who engage with us directly and voluntarily provide us with their Personal Data.

Our legal basis for doing this is legitimate interests (system administration, market research and improving our business offering, and to protect the security and integrity of our Website).
  • For marketing purposes: we may collect and process Personal Data that you provide to us when (i) subscribing to our emails or other communications to receive marketing materials such as webinar information and/or newsletters, or (ii) raising enquiries regarding our goods or services (“Enquiry Data”). Our legal basis for doing this is legitimate interests.
  • For responding to enquiries and communications you make with us: We may collect and process Personal Data contained in or relating to any communication or enquiries that you send to us (“Communication Data”). Communication Data may include the communication content and metadata associated with it as well as any information you provide to us directly (such as in-person, at a virtual meeting or via email). Our Website will automatically generate the metadata associated with communications sent to us using our Website contact forms.
  • The Communication Data may be collected and processed for the purposes of communicating with you and any other parties necessary for that communication (such as other parties copied into the correspondence) and record keeping for the administration of our Website and our business operations. Our legal basis for doing this is for performance of a contract with you or taking pre-contractual steps at your request.
  • For job applications: If you are making a job application or enquiry, you may provide us with a copy of your CV or other relevant information including your Personal Data. 3.1. We may disclose your Personal Data to any member of the Gamma Biosciences group of companies. Such disclosure will only be as reasonably necessary for the purposes, and on the legal bases, set out in this Privacy Notice.

3.2 We may disclose your Personal Data to third parties who we act for or who act on our behalf such as our insurers, distributors, resellers, agents, service providers, and/or professional advisers for further processing in accordance with the purpose for which the data was originally collected by us, or insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes of, amongst other things, for the provision of services to us, obtaining or maintaining insurance coverage, managing risks, obtaining professional advice, obtaining technical support, to protect your safety or the safety of others, to ensure our Website integrity and security or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure or in connection with a criminal or other legal investigation.

3.3 We may share Usage Data that is collected by or transferred to us, with third party websites including, but not limited to Google Analytics. We use your Usage Data to monitor and improve our Website and services. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests.

3.4 Financial transactions made through our Website and services are handled by our third party payment services providers.. We will share account data and transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, making refunds and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.

3.5 We may disclose your Enquiry Data to other companies with which we collaborate regarding particular products or services. These may include any member of the Gamma Biosciences group of companies and our co-promotion partners for products that we jointly develop and/or market.

4. International Data Transfers

4.1 The Personal Data we collect may be transferred to, stored and processed by third parties in any country inside or outside the EEA and the UK where we or any member of the Gamma Biosciences group of companies have facilities or in which we engage service providers, including in the United States.

4.2 If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), in some cases, your Personal Data may be processed by third parties (including any member of the Gamma Biosciences group of companies) in countries outside of the EEA or the UK which do not meet the standard of data privacy protection of the EEA or the UK. In such cases, we sign contractual agreements (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or similar) as required in relation to the processing of Personal Data which is subject to applicable data protection laws with the relevant third parties to ensure that they provide an adequate level of protection for your Personal Data.
